Summer School 2010

Summer School is now over and we welcomed nearly 25 students this year. A very busy week with classes in mime, mask, puppetry, acting, movement and singing, was followed by a showcase to a very appreciative audience of parents and friends. The industry professionals who attended were simply amazed that we accomplished so much in the space of one week and were particularly taken with the acting pieces.

What we promise our students

We will help to encourage and nurture creative talent. We will provide teaching of the highest quality. Our aim is to treat you like professionals so you can walk through any stage door in the country. We will prepare you for auditions and choose the right material for you to present.

Peter Polycarpou has had thirty years of experience in the profession. He has been critically acclaimed as both a musical theatre actor and also as an actor in contemporary theatre. Now he is passing on his knowledge and experience; teaching and directing in youth theatres and schools all over the country.

Maddy Brennan (Peter's wife) has been a principal dancer with Mathew Bourne's New Adventures Company for the last five years and was trained at The Royal Ballet School. She is currently playing the leading role of The Girlfriend in New Adventures Masterpiece, Swan Lake.
