Here at Through The Stage Door we understand the importance of a well-balanced curriculum and the positive impact the Creative Arts can have on children and young adults. That’s why we have designed workshops and programmes to support the educational and social aspect of Secondary school life. Whether your students require support in ‘Bringing Literacy To Life’, interactive experiences for those enrichment days or a new way of re-engaging students, Through The Stage Door will endeavor to provide the best possible experience for those students and support the need to raise standards.
With the huge demand in literacy delivery across education it is often difficult to maintain engagement. We can provide practical exploration of topics, themes and texts focusing on creativity and imagination, driving their understanding and supporting the need for improved progress. We can provide one hour, half day or full day sessions concentrating on student enrichment. These sessions focus on Drama, Performance & Theatre skills increasing the students understanding of specific genres and styles via practical exploration and lots of fun! We also offer sessions too much smaller groups focusing on social emotional understanding. These sessions are carefully designed to build self-confidence, self-esteem, an awareness of empathy and communication skills. Our sessions are tailored to suit the needs of the educational environment we are working with. When booking any of our sessions we will provide a professional and experienced facilitator to suit.
